Lakota is a tall (16.2-17 hands?) chestnut horse (part/half warmblood). He has blaze and four socks. Lakota is responsive and obedient. He has an amazingly smooth jog (one of the smoothest jogs I know of), and a weird lope. When you ask Lakota to stop, he’ll immediately slow down, but won’t come to a complete stop. He is normally willing to lope. Lately, though, Lakota has become more reluctant to lope. It takes me a few tries to get him to. I rode him for the student play day in 2012 and we won a blue ribbon for CA Speed Barrels! He is definitely a favorite!
